Join us for a morning of art and creativity in response to the current exhibition Rallentando: Capturing the Unhurried Past by Juliette Morrison.
A gallery-based informal workshop led by artists Caoimhe O’Dwyer and Jenny Slater, who invite you and your little one to explore the exhibition and themes of autoethnography central to Juliette’s work.
Using photo references, collage and lino prints we will create images of our young audience and their caregivers and images associated with early years.
Parents are encouraged to bring a photo of themselves and their child/ren for the session, which can be enlarged to A4 size at the gallery, as part of the session.
These activities are especially designed to go at your child’s pace so as to capture their imagination whilst having fun and learning new techniques in the welcoming environment of Highlanes Gallery.
Family Bookings available at €5 (Includes parent & child(ren)). All materials provided.
