Join emerging artist, Juliette Morrison, as she introduces you to her practice and the journey her practice and life has taken from a teenager interested in art to a recent graduate of both NCAD and LSAD, and now living and working in London.
You will get to see Juliette’s micro exhibition at the gallery, and hear more about her ideas and process, as well as taking part in a practical drawing and painting session.
Attendees invited are young people/teenagers between 13 to 18 years of age. Tickets are €5 per person, and include all materials.
Painting Preludes provides a captivating platform for participants to bridge the gap between two artistic realms, creating a harmonious synthesis of sound and colour inspired by the French composer Claude Debussy.
This workshop promises not only to enhance participants’ appreciation for both music and visual art but also to cultivate a deeper connection to the emotions and stories embedded within Debussy’s Preludes.The workshop is designed to be a multi-sensory experience, allowing participants to not only listen to the intricate and evocative music of Debussy but also to translate their emotional responses into visual expressions and create a finished painting.
