Highlanes Gallery is delighted to host Drogheda’s ‘Sketchy People’ in the first session during our Summer Sunday opening, this July.
Sketchy People are an urban sketching meet-up in Drogheda on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays, and usually outdoors.
But for the colder, wetter, chillier days they take up ‘residence’ within the gallery, where we will invite you to respond both to the exhibitions on display, and the architectural features of the gallery.
Bring pens, pencils and a sketchbook and sketch whatever ‘draws’ your interest. It is very relaxed and unstructured. Don’t worry about turning up late. Chances are if you spot someone with a sketchbook they are with the group so say hi.
