Sketchy People at Highlanes Gallery

March 11, 2023, 2:00 pm - December 2, 2023, 4:00 pm

Highlanes Gallery is delighted to host Drogheda’s ‘Sketchy People’ for their wintering months, indoors in the gallery.

Sketchy People are a regular urban sketching meet-up in Drogheda from 2:00pm – 4pm on scheduled Saturdays, and usually outdoors.

But for the colder, wetter. chillier months are going to take up ‘residence’ within the gallery, where we will invite you to respond both to the exhibitions on display, and the architectural features of the gallery.

Bring pens, pencils and a sketchbook and sketch whatever ‘draws’ your interest. It is very relaxed and unstructured.

Don’t worry about turning up late. Chances are if you spot someone with a sketchbook they are with the group so say hi.

Then meet for a coffee and chat at 4pm to share our terrible drawings (only if you want to). The goal is to have fun.

Hope to see you there.
