Little Bridgid

In ‘Little Bridgid’, through the window we glimpse rows of white-washed cottages, suggesting a seaside location. The freshly painted face of the little girl captures the innocence and vulnerability of childhood, and her clothes suggest a simplicity far from the stylized formality of a society portrait.
