Join Lisa Kennedy, an accomplished and certified Yoga instructor, weekly, for an hour of relaxation and mindfulness in the dynamic and and contemplative environment of Highlanes Gallery, and within the current solo exhibition by Liliane Tomasko.
The exercises in this yoga session will boost your flexibility and joint mobility, and It also has a strong mind/body connection.

About Lisa Kennedy
Lisa Kennedy is an accredited and experienced Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher. She began practicing Mindfulness, Yoga, and Meditation in 1999 while travelling in Australia.
She teaches Iyengar influenced yoga and mindfulness meditation practices in a variety of settings including studios, business, government departments and more recently in the virtual world.
Lisa’s approach to yoga remains ever focused on being embodied and staying present.
Her classes focus on correct alignment and attention to detail. You can expect the use of props and attention on the natural breath.
Lisa is an accredited Mindfulness Teacher, Certified Mindfulness in the workplace and Mindful Ageing Coach having trained with Breathworks UK, the leading organisation for Mindfulness and Compassion based practices. She facilitates their gold – star 8-week course in Mindfulness for Health and Mindfulness for Stress.
In addition to her Mindfulness and Yoga work, Lisa is a Forest bathing guide and facilitates Mindfulness in Nature programmes along the Boyne Valley garden trail and local woodlands.
She is a graduate of the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology and holds a BA Degree in Outdoor Education.
As well as facilitating and leading mindfulness/yoga and compassion based workshops both in person and online to national and international participants, she has observed the positive effects of mindfulness and yoga on her own life, which has inspired her to teach others skills to relax, reduce stress, manage pain, approach themselves and others with more kindness and compassion, through the tools of yoga and mindfulness.
