Open 10:30–5:00, Tuesday – Saturday
Spiderman, Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and various herbivore and carnivorous dinosaurs feature in the imagery in Emma Roche’s knitted paintings where time is spent with children in their everyday lives around the bathroom sink – being toilet trained, and brushing their teeth, whereas in Alexis Harding’s transformative paintings like Warp Beam and Purple Spirit, other worlds are offered as portals or accessed imaginatively.
Superheroes are important to children in role play and imagination, and in this Easter workshop we invite children to gather recyclable materials, where a purple red onion net could alchemize to capture an evil character or transport saved creatures in alternative world.
Help your children get inspired by your kitchen and bathroom reusable materials ahead of this workshop where we invite them to attend the workshop dressed as one of their favourite characters or superheroes.
