Family Workshop
Explore your creativity and join us for another informal Family Workshop with Nela Hadija where you will look and discuss the exhibition, maelstrom, by artist Maud Cotter.
Within maelstrom the exhibition Maud Cotter has decided to include a builder’s house, made by a builder 21 x 25 x 29 cms, 2007 by Tom Browne as she was drawn to how attentively this model of a cottage is made from the same type of materials as those used for constructing the real cottage.
Inspired by this, families will build a small old-style house or cottage using air-dry clay, learning about different shapes, moulds, and techniques during the process to connect the material.
Children will be actively engaged with their senses and express themselves creatively. Messy but fun!
The session is charged at €6 per family group (Parent(s) + 3 children).
All materials are supplied, and we advise arriving 5 minutes before the official start time of 11:30am, so parents and children can enjoy the full 90 minute workshop.
Please note, this is not a drop-off workshop, and designed for all the family.
