Jackie Nickerson’s evening workshop takes the form of an artist to artist session, with Jackie inviting you to bring a ‘portfolio’ of your work for consultation.
Jackie Nickerson’s creative journey has taken her from fashion photography to art, showcasing her unique perspective and techniques an inspiration for artists working across any discipline.
Jackie has a thoughtful and expansive approach to developing creative work in a professional context.
Does it have an end use? Does it have to speak to a certain audience? Do you have a political message you want to get across? Do you have a personal belief or experience you want to share?
When I get an idea for a project, I like to do a lot of research…
In reality, I think my interest in a subject comes first and then I have to figure out if it’s something that can translate into an image. Then it’s a challenge because I want to push the boundaries…and continue to discover more ways of seeing. In a way, you are developing yourself.
Everyone gets stuck at a certain point in his or her work. The point is not to give up…
Book your individual session with Jackie which runs for 12 minutes, across six scheduled slots;
- 7:30pm to 7:45pm
- 7:45pm to 8:00pm
- 8:00pm to 8:15pm
- 8:15pm to 8:30pm
- 8:30pm to 8:45pm
- 8:45pm to 9:00pm
This session is suited to artists at any stage seeking critical feedback, clarity, and practical insight into building and sustaining a meaningful professional practice.
