To mark National Harp Day across the island, join harpist Jennifer Leahy as she returns to perform at the gallery, this time with talented MGL students, and with a’Hands On Harp’ Session.
About: Jennifer Leahy is an award winning harpist from from Kells Co. Meath. She draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of musical genres, seamlessly weaving together elements of traditional, classical, and South American music. Jennifer has shared her diverse musical talents on stages across Europe and Australia, captivating audiences with her unique blend of influences.
Currently, Jennifer serves as the musical director and tutor at Mullingar Harp School, where she imparts her expertise and passion for the harp to aspiring musicians. Her commitment to musical education and her ability to traverse various genres make her an identifiable figure in the vibrant world of harp performance.
