Participate in an Artist’s Workshop, an Art-Historical Tour at Muireadach’s Cross & a Peer Curatorial group discussion. Spend a half day, which will enrich you, as you evolve through the multiple aspects of your professional life as an Artist-Teacher-Researcher.

Highlanes Gallery, the municipal art gallery for Drogheda and the North East is situated in the heart of the Boyne Valley, and close to Muireadach’s Cross.
Join us for an in-depth morning with a practical workshop led by artist Joy Gerrard, followed by a visit to Muireadach’s Cross, led by Roger Stalley, followed by a gallery talk led by the 6 Artist Teacher Researchers – Eileen Brennan, Kieran Gallagher, Bairbre Geraghty,Veronica Lavin, Ciarán Power and Roisin O’Sullivan, who have curated TRAce and with exhibiting artists Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh (also an ATR) and Armelle Statulski.
- 9.15am -Check in, Highlanes Gallery
- 9:30am – 10.50am Gallery-based practical workshop led by artist Joy Gerrard
- 11am – Travel by bus to Muireadach’s Cross
- 11.30am 12.30pm – A tour of Muireadach’s Cross led by Professor Roger Stalley
- 1:00pm – Informal lunch
- 1.30pm-2.30pm Gallery talk in the TRAce exhibition led by the curators (each Artist-Teacher-Researchers) and with exhibiting artists Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh (also an ATR) and Armelle Statulski.

Artist-Teacher-Researcher/ Autumn Event Fee: The morning session is charged at €25, with bus, materials and light refreshments included.
