Bring your own medium sized jug/vase for this courtyard workshop where Flowers at the Gate Florist, Susan, brings you closer to the Dany Lartigue painting Still Life with Eggs (1953) donated by the Friends of the National Collections of Ireland in 1975, Lartigue, who was inspired himself, by the post-impressionist painter Pierre Bonnard.
In the one hour session, you will look closely at the painting, identify and discuss the flowers in the painting, and then create your own ecologically-minded display using locally foraged, fresh and dried flowers, seedheads and grasses.
