National Drawing Day – May 2024 – Drop in and Draw!

Rain or shine, indoors within the gallery, or in our courtyard, its a free for all for Drawing Day 2024.

Take a line for a walk at the gallery as we mark this year’s National Drawing Day on Saturday 18th May.

DROP IN AND WADR-DWRA-DRAW!

From 11am – 4:30pm, you and your family can drop in at any time of the day, find a perch, on a gallery step, corner, grab a drawing board, paper and make use of the multitude of materials on offer.

Paintings from the gallery’s Municipal Art Collection, and Ursula Burke’s mesmeric exhibition Siren, as well as the interesting architectire of the gallery, will offer ample starting points for you.

Once you have completed your work you can have it hung alongside paintings from the Municipal Collection, and have your picture taken before leaving.
