Family Workshop – The Natural World
Explore your creativity and join us for another informal Family Workshop where you will look and discuss and explore the ideas and materiality of the exhibition To Land: Living Roots Awaken with facilitator Nela Hadija.
Inspired by the multitude of artworks on display, from painting and drawing, to sculpture and video work, many inspired by our connection with land and sea, and nature, families can create their own work using a canvas and employing a range of processes and thinking about texture and form. You are invited to use natural materials – leaves, stones, sea shells, to draw inspiration from or layer on to.
Children will be actively engaged with their senses and express themselves creatively.
The session is charged at €6 per family group (Parent(s) + children).
All materials are supplied, and we advise arriving 5 minutes before the official start time of 11:30am, so parents and children can enjoy the full 90 minute workshop.
Please note, this is not a drop-off workshop, and designed for all the family.
