Join Caoimhe for a playful and creative workshop designed especially for parents and toddlers, inspired by Maud Cotter’s exhibition maelstrom.
Surrounded by large-scale sculptural works that explore change, time, and the interconnectedness of matter, families will be invited to respond through hands-on making with artist Caoimhe O’Dwyer, following a tour of the exhibition.
Using simple materials, you will experiment with shape, texture, movement and print to create artworks that echo the sense of flow, transformation, and discovery at the heart of Maud Cotter’s work.
This workshop is a gentle introduction to art for little ones, encouraging curiosity, imagination, and shared creativity between parent and child.
All materials provided.
Do not worry if you are running late or have to leave early – we can facilitate to your needs.
Toilets are closeby with baby changing facilities at Lower Ground Level and our café, Five Good Things is at ground floor level. Buggy and other baby moving equipment stored safely in the gallery.
