A Thread Between Us Workshop – Explore Collage
A Gallery-based workshop led by artist Jenny Slater

Join artist Jenny Slater as she leads you and your little one through an informal tour of ‘A Thread Between Us’ an Artist – Teacher – Researcher curated exhibition in our top floor gallery space followed by time to enjoy making art together.
This playful session will encourage you and your child to find some common threads amongst the vibrant artworks on display to create your very own collages and dress up items from paper, wool and drawing materials.
Encourage your child’s imagination and creativity whilst also enhancing their fine motor skills through sticking, shaping and mark-making. No previous experience in art-making needed, booking through Eventbrite.
These activities are specially designed to go at your child’s pace, capturing their imagination while having fun and learning new techniques in the welcoming environment of Highlanes Gallery.

Do not worry if you are running late or have to leave early – we can facilitate to your needs.
Toilets are closeby with baby changing facilities at Lower Ground Level and our café, Five Good Things is at ground floor level. Buggy and other baby moving equipment stored safely in the gallery.
Note: On the day if you find that you cannot attend and fulfill your place, please do email us on info@highlanes.ie to release your place as there is always a waiting list.
