Come along with your little one for a morning of art and creativity. This month we will be looking at the exhibition ‘divining‘ by Erin Lawlor in The Lower Gallery.
After exploring the exhibition with artist Caoimhe O’Dwyer you will get to try out some fun painting techniques and some colour mixing activities. Some of Erin’s processes are similar to those used in early years workshops as we will be working horizontally on the floor (alla prima).
We will work on smaller canvases using the artist’s approach to building up layers intuitively. These activities are specially designed to go at your child’s pace, capturing their imagination while having fun and learning new techniques in the welcoming environment of Highlanes Gallery.

Do not worry if you are running late or have to leave early – we can facilitate to your needs.
Toilets are closeby with baby changing facilities at Lower Ground Level and our café, Five Good Things is at ground floor level. Buggy and other baby moving equipment stored safely in the gallery.
Note: On the day if you find that you cannot attend and fulfill your place, please do email us on info@highlanes.ie to release your place as there is always a waiting list.
