She will then detail how to make stop-motion animation.
Before the day, we ask you to do two things in preparation:
1) Download the free STOP MOTION STUDIO app on your phone – It works for both Apple and Android phones.
2) Considering the idea or theme of ‘home) you are invited to bring an object which symbolises or signifies a personal idea of home imbued with memories.
For the session itself, Anita poses the question ‘How do you feel about and think through ideas of ‘home’? What constitutes ‘home’ for you? Each participant’s encounter with ‘home’ is unique; what form does your experience take?’
This workshop will also involve drawing, as you will use the recently downloaded app to record what you draw. At the end of the session, each participant will have their own short animated story on their phone to take home.
