FNCI Exhibition Workshop – Collages
A Gallery-based workshop led by artist Caoimhe O’Dwyer
10.30am -11.30am
NOTE: Each ticket includes 1 Parent & 1 Child
Exploring the FNCI Exhibition in the Upper Gallery ‘Embracing Vision’, artist Caoimhe O’Dwyer will lead you and your little one through an informal workshop looking at paintings and the themes they explore. Enjoy responding to this exhibition with your toddler with some making and creating together.
We will use watercolour and collage to create our own artworks exploring some of the flora and fauna featured in landscapes paintings in the exhibition such as ‘The Twelve Pins’ by Sylvia Cooke-Collis and ‘Coast Scene’ with Path by Manie Jellett. (Both artists worked together exploring the cork coast, learning from and inspiring each other).
These activities are especially designed to go at your child’s pace so as to capture their imagination whilst having fun and learning new techniques in the welcoming environment of Highlanes Gallery.
All materials provided.
Do not worry if you are running late or have to leave early – we can facilitate to your needs.
Toilets are closeby with baby changing facilities at Lower Ground Level and our café, Five Good Things is at ground floor level. Buggy and other baby moving equipment stored safely in the gallery.
