This panel was painted by Nano Reid and located behind the bar counter in Reid's Bar, James Street, Drogheda, the interior of which was designed by Drogheda born architect and father of Modernism in Ireland, Michael Scott (1905 - 1988). The work depicts scences from the Drogheda Quays, including Saint Mary's Bridge (built xxxx and demolished xxxx), a view of the northside of the town, including Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church; the Magdelen Tower. To the left, she paints the town's celtic cross inspired Cenotaph (1919) commerating x men from the town and district who lost their lives in World War I. This monument was located directly opposite the bar, on Mary Street.
