 |
| Laurence Fagan (fl. 1860/1880), who was congenitally deaf was educated at the Caremont Institute, Dublin and lived in Trinity Street, Drogheda. He supported himself by making drawings of local scenes and copies of engravings and etchings, a flourishing trade in the 1860's. He also acted as a tutor to John Cassidy (q.v). His work shows a mastery of technical drawing and are regarded as acurate depictions of local scenes and places of historic interest. |
