The first in a series of four unique performances sees the accomplished and mastery of Zoë Conway & John McIntyre. The pride of An Lú, All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Champion (2001), and virtuoso musician, Zoë Conway makes a welcome return to the gallery with guitarist and husband John McIntyre for a wonderful night of music. Having played live not only during the Drogheda Arts Festival in 2018, Zoë & John made a spectacular series of performances during the hugely successful Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, most notably with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Bill Whelan, Donal Lunny and Mick O’Brien. Expect the exceptional in this evening's concert.

The second performances sees one of Ireland's most original musician's Liam Ó Maonlaí perform on a Steinway Model D piano within the gallery on Wednesday March 6th at 7:30pm. Liam has had a hugely successful and lengthy career as a member of the Hothouse Flowers, the rock n’roll, traditional, soul, jam band who gave such a memorable performance during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018. Ó Maonlai’s other group projects and solo work include most recently the traditional band Ré, who performed during Temple Bar TradFest, and with two albums to his name, Rian released in 2005, and To Be Touched in 2007, both albums a collection of traditional and piano works touching on elements of Liam’s childhood and own songwriting talents, this special evening with him promises to be memorable.

In the third recital, Dave Sheridan & Padraig McGovern perform for the first time in Drogheda since their stunning performance in Gerrard’s Church during 2018’s Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. Piping talent Padraig McGovern and multi-instrumentalist Dave Sheridan are highly regarded in the traditional music world, both as solo musicians and as performers in bands such as Garadice, De Danann and Téada. A stunning duo, their individual and collective performance offers a musical experience of the highest quality.

The final concert in the series sees another virtuoso duo Co. Clare's finest, Tara Breen & Padraig Rynne return to Drogheda after an unforgettable performance during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018. Combining Tara’s multi-instrument talents and Padraig’s fine concertina playing, Tara and Padraig are a duo of exception. Tara’s fiddle mastery has seen her win almost every All-Ireland title there is on the instrument; she was invited to play for the Queen of England at Dublin Castle during her state visit and performs regularly with Stockton's Wing, while Padraig’s passion for the concertina and his constant experimenting with diverse genres of music is evident from his work with bands and groups such as Guidewires, Triad, NOTIFY, and the Atlantic Arc Orchestra. This closing concert will be one to remember.
